RC Work Area Plans

Hello RC enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well.

 Welcome to the temporary plan for a small rc work room.

 My new house has lots of built in cupboards, so I'm going to use one of them as a tiny workshop. I won't be able to spray or cut and shape body shells at the moment, but I will be able to build RC kits within the warm and dry confines of my home.

Enter the cupboard...

 It is very narrow, but it is quite deep and tall.

I should be able to get a nice deep worktop in the space and a chair. 

It's not very wide but it is more than enough space to build my RC cars.

As you can see, it is quite high so I'll be able to build some shelves up there and store my RC parts.

I have swept up, hoovered and washed the floor but the walls need painting.

 Before I start the painting, I'll install a work surface and build a couple of shelves.

Hopefully I can get this cupboard/rc workroom completed soon. It won't be amazing but it will be cosy and compact.

As it turns out, the cupboard next door to this one has flat walls so I changed my mind and used that one instead.

It has the same dimensions as the cupboard next door. As you can see there is barely enough space but it is enough for my needs at the moment. I still need to paint the walls but that is an easy job.

Once the walls are painted I plan on installing some led lights as the desk lamps take up a lot of the bench space.

As you can see, the lights I am using take up a lot of space so installing some LED strips will be the best plan of action. With one RC car on the bench, there is very limited space.

After a couple of coats of matt midnight blue the micro work area is complete.

As you can hopefully see the area is now better suited to photograph anything!
